Joseph B. Papavero is the manager and corporate officer of Papavero Funeral Home.  Joseph acquired an Associates Degree in Applied Mortuary Science from SUNY at Farmingdale and has been a licensed funeral director since 1981.  Joseph, 50, is a life-time resident of Maspeth, residing with his wife, Maria, and three children, Joseph, Graceann and James.  Joseph is a member of the New York State Funeral Directors Association (NYSFDA), the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA), the Metropolitan Funeral Directors Association (MFDA), the Catholic Cemetery Guild, the Maspeth Town Hall Board of Directors, Our Lady of Hope Holy Name Society, Our Lady of Hope Athletic Association, Communities of Maspeth and Elmhurst Together (COMET), Executive Vice President of the Maspeth Chamber of Commerce and the President of the Maspeth Lions Club.

 

Kevin M. Papavero

Kevin M. Papavero is a licensed funeral director.  He acquired an Associates Degree in Applied Mortuary Science from SUNY Farmingdale and has been a licensed funeral director since 1989.  Kevin, 46, also grew up in Maspeth, and now resides on Long Island with his wife, Lori Ann, and four children, Giavanna, Luca, Nico and Valentina.  Kevin is a member of the New York State Funeral Directors Association (NYSFDA), the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA), the Metropolitan Funeral Directors Association (MFDA) and the Catholic Cemetery Guild, and also holds a New Jersey State Funeral Director License.

 

Bart J. Papavero

Bart J. Papavero is a licensed funeral director.  Bart acquired an Associates Degree in Applied Mortuary Science from SUNY Farmingdale and has been a licensed funeral director since 1990.  Bart, 44, is also a life-time resident of Maspeth.  Bart is a member of the New York State Funeral Directors Association (NYSFDA), the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA), the Metropolitan Funeral Directors Association (MFDA) and the Catholic Cemetery Guild.

 

Joseph A. Papavero
 (Licensed Funeral Director)

Joseph A. Papavero, 24, is the most recent member of the Papavero family to receive his funeral director's license.  He is the son of Joseph B. Papavero and represents the fifth generation of the Papavero family tradition in funeral service.  Joseph graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School in Briarwood, NY and then acquired a B.S. in Business Administration from Fordham University College of Business Administration at Rose Hill in Bronx, NY.  Upon graduation, Joseph enrolled in the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service, where he obtained a degree in funeral service.  In October of 2010, Joseph married his wife, Vanessa, a special education teacher who works with autistic children.  They reside in Glendale, NY.  Joseph is the creator and webmaster of our website as well as the websites of the Maspeth Chamber of Commerce, to which he also holds the position of Three-Year Director on the Board of Directors and the Maspeth Lions Club, to which he also holds the position of Second Vice President and Public Relations Chairperson.
