Papavero Funeral Home is a member of the Maspeth Lions Club, part of District 20K-1 of Lions Clubs International.  The Maspeth Lions Club organizes and participates in many charitable and community programs within the Maspeth area and beyond.  Some of the club's projects and events include:

• Fishing Trip for the Children of St. Mary's Hospital
